Ernie Sturzinger, PT, DPT, ATC
Physical Therapist, Clinic Director - Oregon City Certified Athletic TrainerErnie earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2008. He obtained a degree in Athletic Training from George Fox University in 2004. Presently, Ernie is employed full-time in the clinic and also volunteers as an adjunct Athletic Trainer at Oregon City High School. He is a participating member of the APTA, APTA - Orthopedic Section, OPTA, and a board member of Oregon Orthopedic Physical Therapy Study Group (OOPTSG). Ernie specializes in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation and post-surgical care. Ernie and his wife, Megan, enjoy hiking, camping, cycling, and traveling throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Melissa Martin, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer Head Athletic Trainer, Oregon City High School Marketing CoordinatorMelissa Martin, ATC grew up in Glide, OR and graduated from Glide High School in 2004. She attended George Fox University and played on the women's varsity basketball team. In 2008 she graduated with her B.S. while majoring in Athletic Training and Physical Education. She is the head Athletic Trainer at Oregon City High School and is the Marketing Coordinator for ProActive Physical Therapy, focusing on the Canby and Oregon City clinics. Melissa enjoys playing basketball, reading, spending time with her family and friends. Melissa is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, and the Oregon Athletic Trainers Society.
Adrian Cagigas, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer Head Athletic Trainer, Evergreen High SchoolAdrian Cagigas is the Head Athletic Trainer for Evergreen High School where he provides athletic training services for Proactive Physical Therapy. He completed his Bachelor's of Science for Humboldt State University and holds a Master's degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University. Previously Adrian was the Director of Athletic Training for TEAM Clinic in Santa Clara, CA. He provided personal training and rehabilitation for patients, members of the 2003 MLS Champion San Jose Earthquakes, various professional triathletes, and professional cyclists appearing in the 2004 Olympic Trials. Prior to TEAM Clinic, Adrian served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA where his primary responsibilities included management, rehabilitation, and prevention of athletic injuries for football, women's gymnastics, and softball. An avid athlete himself Adrian participated and lettered in football, soccer and baseball at Damien High School in La Verne, CA. Adrian was fortunate enough to go on and play NCAA 2 Intercollegiate soccer at Humboldt State University for three seasons. In his off time Adrian enjoys fishing, music, and the outdoors.
Andy Goss, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer Head Athletic Trainer, Heritage High SchoolAndy grew up in Vermont and graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Education and Athletic Training. After graduation in 2000, Andy moved to the Pacific Northwest. He has worked with exclusively the secondary setting. He was involved with the Washington State Athletic Trainers’ Association support in developing and passing the “Lystedt Law” regarding education and management on sports related concussions. Andy enjoys spending his free time with his wife Kayla, and his two sons, Brady, and Riley.
Anthony Saviola, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer Head Athletic Trainer, Hockinson High SchoolAnthony grew up in Dallas, OR and graduated from Santiam Christian High School in Adair Village, Corvallis. He attended George Fox University where he graduated in 2012 with his B.S. in Athletic Training and minor in Coaching. He is in his first year as the Head Athletic Trainer at Hockinson High School in Vancouver, WA. Anthony, a devoted sports fan himself, lettered in baseball at Santiam Christian, played one year at George Fox, and dedicated his summers while in college to coaching baseball. In his off time he enjoys watching and playing sports, disc golfing, camping, spending time outdoors, and being with his family and friends.
Benjamin Perez-Pringle, ATC, CSCS
Certified Athletic Trainer Head Athletic Trainer, Prairie High SchoolBenjamin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Northeastern University in 2007 and is currently working on the final stages of his Master of Science degree in Kinesiology at San Francisco State University. He has been a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2007. His career path began in professional basketball with the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA and Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League before returning to school in pursuit of a Master's degree. Ben has also worked in collegiate sports with the University of San Francisco women's volleyball and tennis teams, personal training at the San Francisco Bay Club as well as providing medical coverall to several youth camps and tournaments including Adidas Nations, Nike Hoop Summit and a variety of other sports, age groups and levels of competition. Ben has passion for a comprehensive sports medicine approach from both the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries as well as the prevention of injuries through his corrective exercise approach via strength and conditioning with people of all backgrounds and abilities.
Eric Fredricks, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer Head Athletic Trainer, Mt. View High SchoolEric grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attend the University of Michigan where he graduated in 2013 with his B.S. in Athletic Training. At the University of Michigan he worked with football, baseball, wrestling, and ice hockey. He is in his first year as the Head Athletic Trainer at Mountain View High School. Eric enjoys watching and playing sports, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.
Alyssa Tiedens, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer Head Athletic Trainer, Battle Ground High SchoolAlyssa recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and minors in Spanish and International Sports Medicine. Alyssa has applied her interest in sports medicine and the Spanish language by working and studying in Granada, Spain during part of her undergraduate career. Alyssa recently moved to the Pacific Northwest from the Twin Cities of Minnesota, and later hopes to pursue graduate school for a Masters of Athletic Training.
