Tyler Bohnet, PT is a physical therapist and clinic director of our ProActive – Canby clinic. He received his undergraduate and Master of Physical Therapy degrees from Saint Louis University. Tyler has been a physical therapist at our Canby location since it’s opening in 2002. He enjoys working with all types of orthopedic conditions. Tyler is currently pursuing his certification in manual therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Outside of his work as a physical therapist, Tyler enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and most of all, spending time with his wife and two wonderful children.
Michelle Beauchene, PT, DPT
Michelle Beauchene, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at our ProActive – Canby location. She received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Washington University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Arizona.Michelle enjoys treating and rehabilitating clients who have a broad spectrum of orthopedic impairments. Her areas of interest include aquatic therapy and general orthopedics. Outside of her work as a physical therapist, Michelle enjoys road biking, running, and backpacking.
Rebecca Nelson, PT, DPT
Rebecca Nelson, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at our ProActive – Canby location. She received her Bachelor of Science degrees (double majored) in Psychology and Family Studies & Human Development at the University of Arizona and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Arizona University. Rebecca’s areas of interest include running analysis and orthopedics. Her practice philosophy emphasizes therapeutic exercise and functional movement. Outside of her work as a physical therapist, Rebecca enjoys volleyball and running. While at the University of Arizona she participated in the 400m hurdles as a member of the women’s intercollegiate track team.
Vanessa Fray, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Vanessa Fray, PTA is a physical therapist assistant at our ProActive – Canby Clinic. She completed her Associate of Applied Science degree at Mt. Hood Community College. Vanessa has been working in outpatient orthopedics since 2008 and enjoys helping people get back to their activities and sports after injuries. Her areas of interest include general orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Outside of her work as a physical therapist assistant, Vanessa enjoys time with her two daughters outdoors camping and hiking. Vanessa was a competitive figure skater when she was younger and now enjoys spending time at the gym weight lifting.
Erika Buckles, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer
Head Athletic Trainer, Canby High School
Erika received her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from George Fox University. Outside of her work as an athletic trainer she loves to cook, hike, watch SF Giants baseball games, and spend time outdoors with her husband. While at George Fox University she was a member of the women’s intercollegiate softball team.
