Physical Therapist, Owner
Ernie Sturzinger, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC is a physical therapist and clinic owner/director of our ProActive-Oregon City location. Ernie received his undergraduate degree from George Fox University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University. Ernie is a certified athletic trainer and board certified orthopedic specialist.
Ernie specializes in orthopedic physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, TMJ/TMD dysfunction, work conditioning, and post-surgical care. He is a certified ASTYM practitioner and a board member for the Oregon Orthopedic Physical Therapy Study Group. Outside of his work as a physical therapist and athletic trainer, Ernie enjoys hiking, camping, cycling, and traveling with his family.
Karli Gutman, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at our ProActive - Oregon City clinic. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Portland and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Washington.
Karli is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic injuries. Karli specializes in women’s health. Her other interests include, geriatrics and sports physical therapy. Outside of her work as a physical therapist, she enjoys hiking, skiing, running, dancing, traveling, and going out to eat with friends.
Chandra Denherder, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at our ProActive - Oregon City clinic. She received her undergraduate degree from Montana State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Washington.
Chandra is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and enjoys treating all patients with a desire to improve their lives and mobility through education and exercises. She specializes in post-surgical care and orthopedic injuries. Outside of her work as a physical therapist, she enjoys hiking, skiing, climbing, and exploring the Northwest.

Head Athletic Trainer, Oregon City High School
Amy Lepire, ATC, grew up in Aurora, OR and graduated from Noth Marion High School with honors in 2009. She graduated from George Fox University with honors in 2013 with a B.S. in Athletic Training. She is now the Head Athletic Trainer for Oregon City High School. Amy is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Oregon Athletic Trainers Society. Amy enjoys playing softball, kayaking, hiking, running and other outside activities as well as spending time with family and friends.
