Ernie Sturzinger, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC is a physical therapist and clinic owner/director of our ProActive-Tualatin location. Ernie received his undergraduate degree from George Fox University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University. Ernie is a certified athletic trainer and board certified orthopedic specialist.
Ernie specializes in orthopedic physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, TMJ/TMD dysfunction, work conditioning, and post-surgical care. He is a certified ASTYM practitioner and a board member for the Oregon Orthopedic Physical Therapy Study Group. Outside of his work as a physical therapist and athletic trainer, Ernie enjoys hiking, camping, cycling, and traveling with his family.
Megan Nicks, PT
Megan Nicks, PT earned her Bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Portland and her Master of Science in Physiotherapy degree at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. Megan specializes in women's health and pelvic floor dysfunction. Her areas of interest include sports physical therapy and fall prevention. Outside of her work as a physical therapist, Megan enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and watching English Premier League Football (soccer). While at the University of Portland, Megan was a member of the women's intercollegiate tennis team.
Vanessa Gray, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Vanessa Gray, PTA is a physical therapist assistant at our ProActive - Tualatin Clinic. She completed her Associate of Applied Science degree at Mt. Hood Community College. Vanessa has been working in outpatient orthopedics since 2008 and enjoys helping people get back to their activities and sports after injuries. Her areas of interest include general orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Outside of her work as a physical therapist assistant, Vanessa enjoys time with her two daughters outdoors camping and hiking. Vanessa was a competitive figure skater when she was younger and now enjoys spending time at the gym weight lifting.
