Jeremy Hilliard, PT, DPT
Physcial Therapist, Clinic Director
Jeremy received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University in 2008. Since then he has practiced in the outpatient orthopedic arena with a special interest in manual therapy treatment techniques to compliment therapeutic exercises. He is passionate about continuing education opportunities and has taken multiple courses to enhance his knowledge and skills. He has also been invited as a guest lecturer for the Oregon Podiatric Medical Association as well as Pacific University. His treatment approach is patient-specific but typically incorporates manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and a large amount of patient education to help people understand their bodies and how to help manage their injury and reduce future injuries.
In addition to maintaining a full-time clinical schedule, Jeremy is active professionally on both a local and national scale. He is an adjunct faculty member at Pacific University's School of Physical Therapy, assisting students with learning the intricacies of the human body in anatomy and orthopedics. He has also participated as a lab assistant with a widely respected manual therapy organization, the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, and is a board member of the Oregon Orthopedic Physical Therapy Study Group which provides quality continuing education opportunities for practicing physical therapists. He is an active member of the APTA and OPTA including involvement with the Government Affairs Committee and is currently the Director of the Oregon Physical Therapy PAC. Jeremy was recently recognized nationally with the APTA's Emerging Leader Award which is annually given to just fifteen individuals nationwide.
Jeremy was born and raised in Yakima, WA, and continues to enjoy living in the Great Northwest. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Seattle Pacific University in Exercise Science in 2001. On weekends you will likely find him golfing, hiking, snowboarding, or relaxing and enjoying good food, drink, and conversation with some close friends.
Reed Shumway, PT
Physical Therapist
Reed Shumway grew up in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. After high school he attended Oregon State University where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Following graduation he joined the military where he was a Naval Flight Officer and spent the next 15 years in a variety of locations on the East Coast. In 1995 he returned to school and attended the Medical College of Virginia where he graduated as a Physical Therapist in 2000.
Reed believes in not only treating the specific injury a patient arrives with, but also addresses the body as a whole and provides education to prevent to prevent in the future.
Reed enjoys most outdoor activities, especially snowmobiling in the winter months. Other interests include travel, reading, and playing with his granddaughter.
